Disney and Make-A-Wish teamed up with Clenzair to make families Disney wishes come true.
Clenzair helped create a safe experience for hundreds of seriously ill children by installing our NPBI ‘anti-Covid’ air technology at a unique Make-A-Wish Foundation event in Hampshire.
The Elvetham Hotel in Hook was transformed into a magical Disney wonderland for a special three day stay for 150 families who had their wish put on hold by the pandemic.
More than 500 poorly children missed out on a dream trip to Disneyland Paris due to Covid travel restrictions. However, Make-A-Wish Foundation, children’s charity Kentown Wizard Foundation and, Clenzair and the Walt Disney Company all came together to put on the spectacular which saw TV presenter Emma Willis and magician Stephen Mulhern meet the children and listen to their inspirational stories.
Weeks before the first-of-its-kind experience we headed over to the Elvetham Hotel to install our state-of-the-art Needlepoint Bipolar Ionisation (NPBI) technology. Following a visit from a Clenzair technician it was decided the Clenzair Fans would be the most suitable for the Elvetham Hotel – These were installed in the main areas of the hotel and in additional marquee’s outside where events would be taking place, this was to ensure the great benefits of Clenzair would be consistent throughout the whole event.
Bradley Watkins, director at Clenzair, said: “Clenzair was absolutely thrilled to be involved in this Disney experience for Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Elvetham Hotel needed an air purification system that would ensure that the event was a Covid-safe experience for the children and we were delighted to offer them our technology which we installed within a few days.
“The Clenzair device works by constantly cleaning the air and surfaces and, most importantly, can neutralise any pathogens it comes into contact with, including Covid-19. It does this by introducing completely harmless, naturally occurring cleaning ions into the airstream but, unlike chemical fogging systems, Clenzair allowed children and their families to remain present inside The Elvetham Hotel for the duration of the Disney experience.”

It’s been truly wonderful to grant nearly 150 wishes this month and I’d like to thank Disney, The Kentown Wizard Foundation, all the suppliers involved and every single person who helped to make these wishes so personalised and precious.”
