Jerusalem Bar and Kitchen

Jerusalem Bar and Kitchen in upmarket Fitzrovia has become one of the first in the city install state of the art air purification

Jerusalem Bar and Kitchen in upmarket Fitzrovia was the first venue in London to install clenzair air purification in its pub which transforms into a club at night.

Jerusalem Bar and Kitchen in Rathbone Place started trialling Clenzair after the third national lockdown earlier this summer. Owner Eric Yu said: “We take the wellbeing of our team and our customers very seriously and we wanted to find a solution that would safely remove viruses and bacteria from the air and from surfaces 24/7.

“When I heard about Clenzair, I was really impressed. It’s a very professional system which creates a fresh, virus-free zone making it is as safe inside as it is outdoors. For me, the best thing about it is that, unlike fogging, it is safe to use when staff and customers are present.”

Bradley Watkins, director at Clenzair, said: “The management at Jerusalem Bar and Kitchen are extremely forward-thinking and they wanted an air cleaning solution that would provide a safe environment for their customers.

“We’re delighted to have helped them achieve that with our Clenzair fans which constantly clean the air and surfaces, neutralising any pathogens they come into contact with, including Covid. The technology achieves this by introducing completely harmless, naturally occurring cleaning ions into the airstream. As we move further forward out of the pandemic, we believe this is the future of indoor air quality.”
